There are different forms of content that can be done in an email. However, the most common common email consists of a simple sign-up form. Other forms of content should have a physical value.
Get use of the rich communication form. Most people don’t give me what I wanted to hear when sending out email. It’s hard to see that content unless you click right there.
Writing long articles:
The most common form of content is content that has a specific goal. This can be in the form of giving news to your audience. Your goal should be to convince people of your point of view. To the email: your target is sure that you haven’t sent out something worthless. A “this is exactly how I reached my goal,” emails are the most common. However, write it so that it looks like it was your goal that you had in mind. Provide examples of how you achieved your goal.
Also, that goal could be your program’s goals. You might write something like, “read my article and then take the survey for a better job in your team.” Get the wording right. Nothing is wrong with your story, but you have to provide a valid reference point. You want someone to take a look at the example that you write because they have to make a commitment, and then, to write down “Here is my project,” and put it into another email. It’s going to make it easier for someone to do so.
Look for digital natives that talk so fast, and then wrap themselves in words that the 7 olds understand. The people writing email nowadays are not listening to them. Old people really know how to talk. The way I started this exercise is going to make the difference.
Read a book about developing content. It’s known as the “Sketchbook”. I’m in love with this system. It’s so creative at turning email into something meaningful.
It’s an ultimate system that can be use to communicate something that is hard to find elsewhere. It’s amazing to learn so much about the messaging process. One article was so helpful about how to best let the audience know what you’re talking about and then what is going to happen next. There’s no convincing someone to take a survey that doesn’t have a visible goal attached to it.
